Loan Support Specialist

Pioneer Trust Bank is looking for a talented Loan Support Specialist to add to our team. In this position you will play a crucial administrative role in supporting the loan department.  This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all aspects of the role.

This position, as with all positions at Pioneer Trust Bank, does not have sales goals or quotas. 

Job Type: Full Time/Non-Exempt 

Hours:  Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm 

Salary: $17.25 - $25 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Do

  • Loan Processing Support
    • Assist in the preparation, review and processing of loan documentation
    • Ensure all loan files are complete and comply with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
    • Work with loan officers and customers to gather documentation
  • Customer Service
    • Act as a point of contact for borrowers, answering questions and providing status updates
    • Address customer concerns and troubleshoot issues related to loan fulfillment or servicing
  • Documentation and Data Entry
    • Accurately input loan information into the bank's loan system
    • Review data after input to ensure quality and accuracy
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical loan files
    • Ensure proper execution and recording of loan documents
  • Compliance and Quality Control
    • Verify loan documentation for accuracy and adherence to guidance
    • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
  • Administrative Support
    • Prepare routine reports for management regarding loan pipeline status
    • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve loan-related issues
    • Order appraisals and property inspections to support the loan fulfillment process
    • Prepare and process necessary documents for paid loans
    • Assist with general maintenance of loans after booking including monitoring insurance

Why You'll be Successful

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and loan documentation standards is a plus.
