Retirement Plan Services Administrative Specialist - Salem

Pioneer Trust Bank, N.A. is looking to add a Retirement Plan Service Administrative Specialist to our team. This position focuses on assisting the Retirement Plan Services department in delivering accurate and timely information and assistance to Retirement Plan Services customers and beneficiaries by performing a variety of duties. This is not a remote position. This position, as with all positions at Pioneer Trust Bank, N.A. does not have sales goals or quotas. 

Job Type: Full Time In-Office / Non-Exempt 

Hours: Mon-Fri: 8:00 am-5:00 pm; Occasional Overtime

Salary Range: $3,500 to $5,000 monthly

What You'll Do

  • Assist Administrators with day-to-day management of accounts and various operational tasks.
  • Receive and process all contributions.
  • Receive and process distribution requests as approved by Administrator.
  • Assist Administrators with opening and closing accounts.
  • Assist in preparing and tracking required distribution changes.

 What You Will Bring to Pioneer Trust Bank

  • Ability to communicate effectively, via phone, correspondence, and in-person.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, trust accounting system, and a variety of web-based applications.
  • Organizational skills and ability to adapt to organizational practices. 
  • Openness to learning and ability to collaborate with the team.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service.
  • High school diploma or GED with one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience working in financial institution or wealth management. Undergraduate degree preferred, but not required.
