Summary

Pioneer Trust Bank N.A. is currently seeking a detailed candidate to join Pioneer Trust Bank as a Loan Processor. This position is responsible for providing support to Loan Officers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties

  • Prepare loan files by following bank policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Close all approved loan transactions by following appropriate procedures. Perfect all Collateral secured loans by following appropriate procedures

Job Duties

  •  Order Appraisals, Reviews, Evaluations and Environmental as appropriate on loans secured by real estate.
  • Order Flood Certificates and Tax Service as appropriate on loans secured by real estate.
  • Mail out appropriate correspondence, including required disclosures to borrower’s as needed regarding the loan process.
  • Complete non-financial underwriting on all loan files coming through the approval pipeline.
  • Update progress in internal systems and spreadsheets for each assigned loan transaction.
  • Communicate with Title Insurance companies when Escrow and/or Title Insurance is requested throughout the loan process.
  • Ensure proper insurance maintenance and tracking is completed on all loans secured by collateral as appropriate.
  • Understand and follow all loan compliance regulations.
  • Prepare loan documents through LaserPro software based on review & approval of new, renewal and/or modification loan terms.
  • Collect necessary items to perfect liens taken on all loans secured by collateral.
  • Create collateral files for both consumer and business purpose loans.
  • Provide Notary assistance to Loan Officer’s during customer loan signings.
  • Take necessary actions to book and fund loan transactions.
  • Complete post-booking review of all assigned loan transactions to ensure accuracy of loan terms on the core system.
  • Follow-up as needed on missing closed collateral file items.
  • Perform additional loan database services such as construction inspections & draw requests as well as file maintenance of collateral files.   
  • Maintains punctual and regular attendance.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from Manager.
  • Other duties & projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field or in a position requiring complimentary skills (data entry, document review and analysis, multi- tasking and attention to detail)
  • Training or equivalent combination of education and experience working in Commercial Banking

Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations

This position requires an Oregon Notary license, which could be obtained after hired, and a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or access to an insured vehicle.

Travel Requirement

This position does not require travel.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Computer Skills

The job requires specialized computer skills.  Must be adept at using various applications including using databases, using spreadsheets, project management, word processing, communicating by e-mail, and using scheduling software. Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Edge, LaserPro or similar loan document preparation software, Adobe Acrobat, Director and Fiserv/Premier or similar software.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
